On The Road Again...

Yesterday I finally painted the yellow line on my road, following some prototype pictures from the late 70s and mid 80s. Back then, there was no stop line painted before a grade crossing on rural road.

I also added some weathering using pastel chalk. I tried no to overdo this step because more waethering will be added when the road will be surrounded by scenery and gravel parking lots near the team track.

The road was glued in place using adhesive caulk.

  1. Any updates on this layout Matthieu? I've been checking back once a month or so.

    Thanks,

    1. Funny you ask Jason. THe room housing this layout was getting a serious refurbishment. In fact, I completely restored it to its late 19th century splendor. It was an occasion to get the best wall of the room available for the layout. Check my most recent post for details. The layout is actually dismantled, in my basement, waiting to be ressurected. It's under a pile of boards, so I hope it won't be too much in bad shape.
